    Sanshine Shaftless Screw Conveyor is a dewatering device that uses physical compression. It consists of a drive system, feed hopper, auger, screen, pneumatic material blocking device, water collection tank, and frame. Material enters the device through the feed hopper and is subjected to progressively increasing pressure under the conveying force of the auger. Excess water passes through the screen and is discharged from the outlet. The dehydrated material continues to be conveyed by the auger, pushing aside the material blocking device and exiting the device through the discharge port.

    Fruit and vegetable juicing, dehydration of traditional Chinese medicine extracts, pulp dehydration, organic matter dehydration, and kitchen waste dehydration.

     

    Product Principle

    Sanshine Shaftless Screw Conveyor's dewatering process consists of two stages. The first stage utilizes a screw conveyor, which comprises three sections: a conveying section, a compression section, and a discharge section. The conveying section ensures a smooth entry of material into the equipment. In the dewatering section, the screw pitch and inner diameter of the screw blades gradually decrease, resulting in a progressively smaller conveying space. This progressively smaller space creates increasing pressure on the material, forcing it to shrink and extracting moisture.
    The second stage utilizes a material-blocking device. When material enters the discharge section of the screw conveyor, the screw conveyor applies an axial thrust to push it out of the discharge port. Simultaneously, the material-blocking device, pressurized by a pneumatic device, applies a counterforce to the material about to be pushed out, creating a compressive force for the second stage of dewatering.

    The parameters of the screw conveyor are analyzed through mechanical calculations, employing a special process to increase axial thrust, completely resolving issues such as slippage, bridging, material return, and shaft failure that could prevent continuous operation, significantly increasing the processing capacity per unit time.
    *Low Moisture Content in Extruded Material
    Due to the diverse types of materials to be dehydrated, with varying moisture content, molecular water ratio, viscosity, fiber content, water absorption, toughness, and organic or inorganic matter content, our engineers analyze the material provided by each customer, calculating suitable parameters to manufacture appropriate equipment, maximizing the physical pressing effect and reducing the moisture content of the extruded material.
    *Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant
    Key components of Sanshine Shaftless Screw Conveyor are coated with a wear-resistant layer, and an alloy blade is welded to the surface of the auger blades to increase wear resistance. Core components are made of 304 stainless steel, which is resistant to acids, alkalis, and corrosion, thus greatly extending the equipment's service life.
    *No added chemicals required
    Screens with a gap of 0.3mm-1.0mm can be selected according to the properties of the material to be dewatered. No flocculants or other chemicals need to be added during the dewatering process, thus avoiding additional costs and preventing the addition of chemicals from affecting the secondary utilization of the material.
